The dragon looked almost hungry the way it moved.. it craved battle. "You see... No matter how many times I die..No matter what happens to my body..." Cientren said as the Dragon puppet opened its mouth and bent its head down towards Kanisaki, who was in utter shock of the sheer size of the puppet. "I rise again from the ashes.... I am 'The Phoenix'!" | |

Sorry, I know I'm epic late. Valentines day has many origins rooted deep in pagan history. The actual valentines day was called Luperci, and was celebrated by sacrificing and skinning a goat, dipping the strips of goat skin in sacrificial blood, then slapping and spanking women with these strips. Women welcomed the goat strips, because it was believed that if they were smacked with them they would become more fertile. Then, it was accustom during Luperci to place all the single women in towns name in a pot, and men would draw and then "hook up" with the woman until the next Luperci Festival. These matchings however often led to marrage. Christmas, on the other hand, has nothing to do with the real birth of Jesus. As a matter of fact, Jesus wasn't born in December at all. Christmas, much like easter, was a celebration of the seasons changing. "Christmas" as we know it today, was a celebration of the winter solstice where men would often strip naked (as they always did in celebrations/festivals), and often have gay sex. It's no coincidence that Jesus just happened to "die" and then "resurrect" on the exact days of these two ancient celebrations. Christianity has been adapted to appeal to the masses, and reel in as many people as possible. |
